Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

3 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (about 1 lemon)

1 teaspoon lemon zest (grated from the lemon)

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon honey

1 teaspoon fresh dill, chopped (or ½ teaspoon dried dill)

1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped (or ½ teaspoon dried parsley)

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

Lemon wedges, for serving

Fresh herbs, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Marinade Preparation: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, honey, dill, parsley, salt, and black pepper until well combined. This zesty marinade will infuse the salmon with flavor.

Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the fillets, ensuring they are evenly coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for a more intense flavor.

Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375-400°F or 190-200°C). If using a grill pan, place it on medium-high heat on the stovetop.

Prep the Grill: Lightly oil the grill grates with a paper towel dipped in olive oil to prevent sticking.

Grilling the Salmon: Remove the salmon from the marinade, letting the excess drip off. Place the fillets skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 4-5 minutes without moving them, allowing the skin to crisp up.

Flip the Salmon: Carefully flip the salmon using a spatula and grill for another 3-4 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. Avoid overcooking to keep the salmon tender and juicy.

Serve: Remove the salmon from the grill and transfer to a serving platter. Serve immediately with lemon wedges and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

Enjoy Your Meal: Pair this delectable dish with a side of grilled vegetables or a fresh garden salad for a complete meal.
