4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

3 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

Zest and juice of 2 large lemons

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Lemon slices, for garnish

Marinate the Chicken: In a large mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, parsley, oregano, thyme, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.

    Add Chicken: Place the chicken breasts into the marinade, ensuring each piece is well coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for enhanced flavor.

      Preheat the Grill or Skillet: If grilling, preheat your grill to medium-high heat. For cooking on the stovetop, heat a large skillet over medium heat.

        Cook the Chicken: Remove the chicken from the marinade and let any excess marinade drip off. If grilling, place the chicken on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). If using a skillet, add a bit more olive oil if needed, and cook the chicken for about the same time.
