Ingredients

4 ears of fresh corn, husked and cleaned

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped (for garnish)

Salt and black pepper to taste

Lime wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Prep the Corn: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the corn and cook for about 7-10 minutes until tender. Remove and let cool slightly.

Make the Cajun Butter: In a bowl, combine the melted butter, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne pepper (if using), and a pinch of salt and black pepper. Mix well to combine the spices with the butter.

Grill the Corn (Optional): For added flavor, grill the cooked corn on a hot grill for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until charred in spots. Alternatively, you can skip this step and use the corn boiled.

Coat the Corn: Brush the Cajun butter mixture generously over each ear of corn, ensuring they are well coated. You can save some of the butter for drizzling before serving.

Add Cheese: Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the butter-coated corn. Allow it to stick for a minute or two.

Garnish and Serve: Transfer the corn to a serving platter. Sprinkle fresh parsley on top for a burst of color. Serve with lime wedges on the side to squeeze over the corn for an extra zing.
