Ingredients

1 ripe banana

1 cup frozen pineapple chunks

1/2 cup frozen mango chunks

1/2 cup coconut water

1/2 cup Greek yogurt (or non-dairy yogurt)

1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup (optional)

1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric (for a vibrant color and health benefits)

A handful of fresh spinach (optional, for added nutrients)

Ice cubes (optional, for a thicker consistency)

Instructions

Prepare the Ingredients: Start by peeling the ripe banana and if you're using fresh pineapple or mango, chop them into small chunks. If you're using frozen fruits, there's no need to prep those.

Blend the Base: In a high-speed blender, add the banana, frozen pineapple, frozen mango, coconut water, Greek yogurt, and lime juice.

Add Sweetness and Color: If you prefer a sweeter smoothie, add honey or agave syrup. Then, sprinkle in the ground turmeric for color and health benefits.

Incorporate Greens: For an extra boost of nutrients, add a handful of fresh spinach to the mixture. It won’t alter the flavor much but will enhance the nutrition.

Blend Until Smooth: Secure the lid on the blender and blend all the ingredients on high speed until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency. If the smoothie is too thick for your liking, you can add more coconut water or a few ice cubes and blend again.

Taste and Adjust: Take a sip and adjust the sweetness if necessary. You can add more honey/agave syrup if desired.

Serve: Pour the smoothie into chilled glasses. You can garnish with a slice of pineapple or a sprinkle of chia seeds for extra flair.

Enjoy: Sip on your Tropical Sunrise Smoothie as a Breakfast treat, post-workout fuel, or as a refreshing snack any time of the day!
