Ingredients

1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces

1/4 cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)

1 tablespoon honey

1 tablespoon sesame oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon ginger, grated

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

2 green onions, finely chopped (for garnish)

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes for extra heat

2 tablespoons vegetable oil (for cooking)

Instructions

Marinate the Chicken: In a medium bowl, combine the soy sauce, gochujang, honey, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, rice vinegar, and optional red pepper flakes. Mix well until all ingredients are fully combined. Add the chicken pieces and toss to coat well. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes, preferably 1-2 hours for more flavor.

Heat the Pan: In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

Cook the Chicken: Remove the chicken from the marinade, shaking off any excess marinade. Add the chicken pieces to the hot skillet in a single layer (work in batches if necessary). Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through, flipping halfway to ensure even cooking.

Reduce the Sauce: After cooking the chicken, pour the leftover marinade into the skillet. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens slightly and glazes over the chicken.

Serve: Transfer the spicy Korean BBQ chicken bites to a serving plate. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot as an appetizer, with steamed rice, or wrapped in lettuce leaves for a fresh twist.

Enjoy your delicious Spicy Korean BBQ Chicken Bites!
