Ingredients

2 lbs chicken wings

1/4 cup honey

1/4 cup soy sauce

3 tablespoons sriracha (adjust for heat preference)

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Green onions, thinly sliced (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

Prep the Chicken Wings: Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, season them with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Toss to coat evenly.

Make the Marinade: In a separate bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, sriracha, minced garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, and sesame oil until fully combined.

Marinate the Wings: Pour the marinade over the seasoned chicken wings, ensuring all wings are well-coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (or up to 8 hours for enhanced flavor).

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.

Bake the Wings: Arrange the marinated wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping once halfway through, until the wings are crispy and golden brown.

Glaze the Wings: In a small saucepan, pour the leftover marinade and bring it to a simmer over medium heat. Allow it to cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens slightly.

Toss and Serve: Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the thickened glaze over the wings and toss to coat them evenly.

Garnish and Enjoy: Transfer the wings to a serving platter, garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot and enjoy your spicy sweet treat!
