2 packs of instant ramen noodles (discard the seasoning packets)

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

6 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon chili oil (adjust to taste)

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon miso paste (optional for depth of flavor)

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 cup vegetable broth or water

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (more for extra spice)

1 bunch green onions, sliced (for garnish)

1 soft-boiled egg (optional for topping)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Fresh cilantro (for garnish, optional)

Instructions
 

Cook the Noodles: In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the ramen noodles and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
