Ingredients

1 large head of cauliflower, cut into florets

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust for spice preference)

1 cup almond milk (or any milk of choice)

1 cup breadcrumbs (Panko recommended for extra crunch)

1/4 cup sriracha sauce

1/4 cup mayonnaise (vegan mayo for a plant-based option)

1 tablespoon honey (or agave syrup for vegan option)

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 teaspoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon sesame oil

Salt and pepper, to taste

Chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 450°F (232°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easier cleanup.

Prepare Cauliflower: In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Whisk to combine.

Dredging Station: Pour the almond milk into a separate bowl. Set up a dredging station by placing your seasoned flour mixture, almond milk, and breadcrumbs in three adjacent bowls.

Coat Cauliflower Florets: Dip each cauliflower floret into the flour mixture, then the almond milk, followed by the breadcrumbs, ensuring they are evenly coated. Place them on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.

Bake Until Golden: Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the cauliflower is golden brown and crispy. Flip the florets halfway through for even cooking.

Prepare Bang Bang Sauce: While the cauliflower is baking, in a bowl, whisk together the sriracha, mayonnaise, honey, rice vinegar, soy sauce, and sesame oil until smooth. Adjust the ingredients to taste if desired, adding more sriracha for heat or honey for sweetness.

Combine & Garnish: Once the cauliflower is out of the oven, transfer it to a large bowl and drizzle the Bang Bang sauce over the top. Toss until the cauliflower is well-coated.

Serve and Enjoy: Serve immediately, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Enjoy your spicy, crispy Bang Bang Cauliflower as an appetizer, side dish, or snack!
