Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1 pound asparagus, trimmed

Lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Place the salmon fillets on one side of the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle half of the garlic butter mixture over the fillets, making sure they are well coated.

On the other side of the baking sheet, arrange the trimmed asparagus. Drizzle the remaining garlic butter mixture over the asparagus, tossing to coat evenly.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the asparagus is tender-crisp.

Remove from the oven and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the salmon and asparagus. Garnish with chopped parsley and lemon slices before serving.
