Ingredients

1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved

3 tablespoons olive oil

3 tablespoons honey

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar (optional, for added depth)

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for a hint of heat)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Prepare Brussels Sprouts: In a large bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts, olive oil, honey, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and balsamic vinegar (if using). Toss everything together until the Brussels sprouts are well-coated.

Arrange on Baking Sheet: Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, cut side down for optimal caramelization.

Roasting: Roast in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the Brussels sprouts are golden brown and crispy on the outside. Toss them halfway through the cooking time for even roasting.

Add Spice: If you like a bit of heat, sprinkle red pepper flakes over the Brussels sprouts in the last 5 minutes of roasting.

Cool and Garnish: Once done, remove the Brussels sprouts from the oven and let them cool for a minute. Transfer to a serving platter and garnish with fresh chopped parsley.

Serve: Serve warm with lemon wedges on the side for drizzling . Enjoy the sweet and savory explosion of flavors!
