1 pound fresh asparagus, trimmed

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Zest of 1 lemon

Juice of 1/2 lemon

Optional: 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley for garnish

    Prepare the Asparagus: Rinse the asparagus under cold water and trim off the woody ends (about 1-2 inches). Pat them dry with a paper towel.

      Season: In a large mixing bowl, combine the trimmed asparagus with olive oil, garlic powder, sea salt, and black pepper. Toss until the asparagus is evenly coated.

        Roast: Spread the seasoned asparagus in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Ensure there is space between each piece to allow for even roasting.
