Rich Nutella Cheesecake Bars

1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

2 tablespoons granulated sugar

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup Nutella

½ cup powdered sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

¼ teaspoon salt

½ cup heavy cream

Additional Nutella for drizzling (optional)

Chopped hazelnuts for garnish (optional)

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal later.

    Make the Crust: In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix until well combined and the crumbs are evenly coated. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking pan using the back of a measuring cup to create a compact layer.

      Bake the Crust: Bake the crust in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let it cool while you prepare the filling.

        Prepare the Cheesecake Filling: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Add in the Nutella and beat until fully incorporated.

          Add Sweetness and Eggs: Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing until smooth. Then, beat in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract and salt until everything is well combined.
