Quick Beef and Vegetable Stir-Fry

1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 tablespoon cornstarch

3 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided

1 bell pepper (red or green), sliced

1 cup broccoli florets

1 cup snap peas

2 cloves garlic, minced

1-inch piece of ginger, grated

2 green onions, sliced

Cooked rice or noodles, to serve

Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions
 

In a bowl, combine the thinly sliced beef, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Mix well, ensuring the beef is evenly coated. Let marinate for about 10 minutes while preparing vegetables.

    Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large non-stick skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated beef in a single layer. Stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.

      In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, sautéing for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

        Toss in the sliced bell pepper, broccoli florets, and snap peas. Stir-fry for around 3-4 minutes, or until vegetables are just tender but still crisp.

          Return the beef to the skillet, mixing everything together. Stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes to combine flavors.

            Serve hot over cooked rice or noodles. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds for an extra touch of flavor and crunch.
