Quick and Easy Creamy Beef Noodle Casserole

12 oz egg noodles

1 lb ground beef

1 medium onion, diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

1 cup sour cream

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided

1 cup frozen peas and carrots

2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Cook Noodles: Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

      Brown Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, diced onion, and minced garlic until the beef is browned and the onion is tender, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.

        Mix Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, half of the cheddar cheese (½ cup), frozen peas and carrots, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.

          Combine Noodles: Gently fold in the cooked egg noodles to the meat mixture until everything is evenly coated.

            Transfer to Casserole Dish: Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch casserole dish. Spread it out evenly.

              Top and Bake: Sprinkle the remaining half of the cheddar cheese on top. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the cheese is melted and slightly golden.

                Serve: Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
