For the Bread:

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

½ teaspoon ground nutmeg

½ teaspoon ground ginger

½ teaspoon salt

1 cup canned pumpkin puree

¾ cup granulated sugar

½ cup brown sugar, packed

½ cup vegetable oil

3 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Cream Cheese Swirl:

8 oz cream cheese, softened

½ cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven:

    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5-inch loaf pan.

      Prepare the Pumpkin Bread Batter:

        In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt. Set aside.

          Mix Wet Ingredients:

            In a large bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and well blended.

              Combine Dry and Wet Ingredients:

                Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix; a few lumps are okay.

                  Prepare Cream Cheese Mixture:

                    In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and flour until smooth and creamy.

                      Layer the Batter:

                        Pour half of the pumpkin batter into the prepared loaf pan. Spoon half of the cream cheese mixture dollops over the batter. Use a knife or spatula to gently swirl the cream cheese into the batter.

                          Add Remaining Batter:

                            Pour in the remaining pumpkin batter and top with the remaining cream cheese mixture. Use the knife again for gentle swirling, ensuring a marbled effect.

                              Bake:

                                Bake in the preheated oven for 55-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

                                  Cool:

                                    Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then remove it from the pan and let it cool completely on a wire rack.
