Ingredients

12 slider rolls or mini brioche buns

1 cup marinara sauce (plus extra for serving)

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup mini pepperoni slices (or your preferred toppings like bell peppers, mushrooms, or olives)

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

½ teaspoon garlic powder

¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Prepare the Slider Base: Slice the slider rolls in half horizontally, keeping the tops and bottoms connected. Place the bottom halves on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Spread the Sauce: Evenly spread the marinara sauce over the bottom halves of the slider rolls, leaving a little room around the edges.

Add Cheese and Toppings: Sprinkle half of the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce. Evenly distribute the mini pepperoni slices (or your choice of toppings) on top of the cheese. Then, add the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.

Close the Sliders: Place the tops of the slider rolls back onto the assembled sliders.

Prepare the Seasoning Oil: In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using). Brush this mixture on top of the slider tops for extra flavor.

Bake the Sliders: Cover the sliders with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serve: Once baked, remove the sliders from the oven and let them cool for a couple of minutes. Carefully cut them into individual sliders. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired and serve warm with extra marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
