Ingredients

1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced or skirt steak

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 medium onion, thinly sliced

1 medium green bell pepper, thinly sliced

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

8 slices provolone cheese (or cheese of your choice)

12 small slider buns or Hawaiian rolls

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

Optional: sliced jalapeños for extra heat

Instructions

Prepare the Steak: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the thinly sliced flank steak and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Sear the beef for about 3-4 minutes until browned and just cooked through.

Sauté Vegetables: Add the sliced onions and bell peppers to the skillet. Cook for another 5-6 minutes until the veggies are softened and slightly caramelized. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce and mix well.

Assemble the Sliders: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Split the slider buns in half and lay the bottom halves in a greased baking dish. Spoon the steak and veggie mixture evenly over the buns, then top with provolone cheese slices.

Top the Sliders: Place the top halves of the buns over the cheese. If desired, spread a little butter on top and sprinkle with garlic powder or herbs for added flavor.

Bake: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the cheese is melted and the top is golden brown.

Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing apart the sliders. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce or simply enjoy them as they are!
