Ingredients

2 lbs flank steak, sliced into thin strips

2 bell peppers (red and green), sliced

1 large onion, sliced

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup beef broth

1/4 cup soy sauce

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon sugar

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Cooked rice or noodles (for serving)

Instructions

Prep the Meat: Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the sliced flank steak for 3-5 minutes until browned. This step adds depth of flavor.

Add Ingredients to Crock Pot: Transfer the seared steak into the crock pot. Add the sliced bell peppers, onion, and minced garlic on top of the meat.

Mix the Sauce: In a separate bowl, whisk together the beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, cornstarch, black pepper, paprika, and sugar until well combined.

Combine Everything: Pour the sauce mixture over the steak and vegetables in the crock pot, ensuring everything is well coated.

Cook: Cover the crock pot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the steak is tender and flavors have melded together.

Finish and Serve: When ready to serve, taste for seasoning and adjust if necessary. Serve hot over cooked rice or noodles, and garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color.
