Ingredients

1 cup pecans, chopped

1 cup graham cracker crumbs

1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

1/4 cup maple syrup

1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup dark chocolate chips, melted (for coating)

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped pecans, graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar, cocoa powder, and salt. Mix well until all dry ingredients are combined.

Pour in the maple syrup and vanilla extract, then mix thoroughly until the mixture is well incorporated and holds together.

Using your hands, form the mixture into small balls, about 1-inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Once all the balls are formed, refrigerate them for about 30 minutes to firm up.

While the balls are chilling, melt the dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments, stirring in between until smooth.

Remove the chilled balls from the refrigerator. Dip each ball into the melted chocolate, allowing any excess chocolate to drip off, and place them back onto the parchment-lined baking sheet.

If desired, sprinkle a few chopped pecans on top of each chocolate-coated ball for added texture and decoration.

Refrigerate the balls for another 15-20 minutes until the chocolate has hardened.

Serve chilled or at room temperature and enjoy your delightful Pecan Pie Balls!
