Ingredients

1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken tenders

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

2 large eggs

2 tablespoons milk

Cooking spray or olive oil for baking

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Prepare the Breading Stations: In a shallow bowl, mix together the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until smooth.

Coat the Chicken: Dip each chicken tender first into the egg mixture, ensuring it's well-coated, then transfer it to the breadcrumb mixture. Press the chicken into the breadcrumbs generously to coat both sides thoroughly.

Arrange on Baking Sheet: Place the breaded chicken tenders on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they are spaced evenly apart. Lightly spray the tops with cooking spray or drizzle a little olive oil to help them crisp up during baking.

Bake the Tenders: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (75°C).

Serve: Remove from the oven and let the tenders rest for a few minutes. Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauces, such as marinara, ranch, or honey mustard.
