Oven Fried Feta Rolls with Chili Honey

1 block (8 oz) feta cheese, drained and crumbled

1 cup ricotta cheese

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

1/2 teaspoon lemon zest

Salt and pepper to taste

6 sheets of phyllo pastry, thawed

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/4 cup plain breadcrumbs

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

1/2 cup honey

1 tablespoon chili flakes (adjust to taste)

Prepare the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine crumbled feta cheese, ricotta cheese, garlic powder, dried oregano, lemon zest, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are blended together to form a creamy filling.

    Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

      Assemble the Rolls: Lay one sheet of phyllo pastry on a clean surface. Brush lightly with melted butter. Place a second sheet over it and repeat the process. Spoon a generous tablespoon of the cheese filling onto one end of the phyllo sheets.

        Roll it Up: Fold the sides of the phyllo over the filling and then roll it up tightly to create a log shape. Repeat this process with the remaining sheets and filling.
