Ingredients

4 bone-in pork chops (about 1-inch thick)

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried)

1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried)

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1 lemon (juiced and zested)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Garlic Butter Mixture: In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, thyme, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Mix well until combined.

Season the Pork Chops: Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels to ensure they sear nicely. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.

Coat the Pork Chops: Place the chops in a baking dish and pour the garlic butter mixture over them, making sure to coat each chop evenly. You can use a brush to spread the mixture if necessary.

Bake: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and place it in the preheated oven. Bake for 20-25 minutes.

Sear for Extra Flavor: After baking, remove the foil and turn on the broiler. Broil the pork chops for an additional 3-5 minutes until they're golden brown on top and have a slightly crispy exterior. Keep a close eye to avoid burning.

Rest the Chops: Once done, remove the baking dish from the oven and let the pork chops rest for about 5 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.

Serve: Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving. Pair with roasted vegetables or mashed potatoes for a complete meal.
