Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.

    Combine Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until fully blended.

      Combine Mixtures: Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are okay.
