Ingredients

1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup sliced pepperoni

1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

1 egg (for egg wash)

1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese (for topping)

Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough on a clean surface and separate it into triangles according to package instructions.

Mix Fillings: In a bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella, pepperoni slices, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes if using. Stir until well mixed.

Fill the Croissants: On the wide end of each crescent triangle, place a generous tablespoon of the cheese and pepperoni mixture. Roll the dough starting from the wide end towards the pointed end, forming a crescent shape. Ensure the filling is tucked inside.

Egg Wash: In a small bowl, whisk the egg and brush it over the top of each rolled croissant to give them a golden color while baking.

Sprinkle Parmesan: Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top of each croissant roll for extra flavor.

Bake: Place the filled croissant rolls on the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until they are golden brown and puffed up.

Serve: Once baked, remove from the oven and let them cool for a couple of minutes. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
