Ingredients

12 slider buns

1 lb thinly sliced ham (preferably smoked)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup Dijon mustard

1/4 cup sliced green onions (plus extra for garnish)

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

1/4 cup melted butter

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined.

Add the sliced green onions to the cream cheese mixture and stir until evenly distributed.

Slice the slider buns in half horizontally, keeping the top and bottom halves together. Place the bottom half of the buns in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.

Spread half of the cream cheese mixture onto the bottom buns. Layer the sliced ham evenly on top, followed by a layer of shredded cheddar cheese.

Spoon the remaining cream cheese mixture over the cheese, then place the top halves of the buns on.

In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with a sprinkle of garlic powder. Brush the butter over the tops of the slider buns.

Bake the sliders in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.

Carefully remove the sliders from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Slice along the previously made cuts and arrange on a serving platter. Garnish with extra sliced green onions, if desired.

Serve warm and enjoy these deliciously cheesy Mississippi Sin Ham Sliders!
