Ingredients

6 slices of brioche or challah bread

2 large eggs

1/2 cup milk (whole or almond)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

2 tablespoons sugar (optional)

1 cup tiny breakfast cereal (like Cheerios or Cinnamon Toast Crunch)

Maple syrup (for drizzling)

Fresh fruit (such as berries or banana slices, for topping)

Butter (for cooking)

Instructions

Prepare the Egg Mixture: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and sugar until well combined.

Cut the Bread: Cut each slice of brioche or challah into quarters to create mini squares.

Soak the Bread: Dip each mini square into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are well coated but not overly soggy.

Cook the French Toast: Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and add a pat of butter. Once melted, carefully place the soaked bread squares onto the skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and slightly crispy.

Assemble the Sliders: On a plate, stack two squares of French toast together and add a sprinkle of tiny cereal in between. You can also layer some fresh fruit for added flavor and color. Repeat this process to make all the mini sliders.

Drizzle with Maple Syrup: Once all sliders are set, drizzle them generously with maple syrup.

Serve and Enjoy: Serve your Mini French Toast Cereal Sliders warm, garnished with extra fresh fruit if desired. Enjoy this delightful breakfast treat!
