1.5 lbs Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved

1/2 cup pecans, coarsely chopped

1/4 cup maple syrup

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp balsamic vinegar

1 tsp sea salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/2 cup dried cranberries (optional, for garnish)

Fresh thyme (for garnish, optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). This will ensure a perfectly roasted Brussels sprouts with a delicious caramelization.

    Prepare the Pecans: In a small skillet over medium heat, add the chopped pecans, 1 tablespoon of maple syrup, and a sprinkle of salt. Stir frequently for about 4-5 minutes until the pecans are toasted and lightly caramelized. Remove from heat and spread on a parchment-lined baking sheet to cool.

      Toss the Brussels Sprouts: In a large mixing bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, sea salt, black pepper, and cinnamon. Toss until all the Brussels are evenly coated with the mixture.
