Ingredients

1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

6 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded

4 oz pepperoni slices

4 oz cooked Italian sausage, crumbled

1/2 cup roasted red peppers, sliced

1/2 cup spinach, fresh

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1 clove garlic, minced

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Olive oil (for brushing)

Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Dough: On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle, about 14x10 inches.

Layer the Fillings: Start by sprinkling the shredded mozzarella evenly over the dough, leaving about 1 inch of border on all sides. Then layer with pepperoni slices, cooked Italian sausage, roasted red peppers, fresh spinach, and grated Parmesan cheese.

Season Everything: Sprinkle Italian seasoning and minced garlic evenly over the top of the fillings for an extra flavor kick.

Roll It Up: Starting from one long side, carefully roll the dough over the fillings, keeping it as tight as possible. Pinch the ends to seal and tuck the edges under.

Egg Wash & Oil: Place the rolled Stromboli seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the top with the beaten egg and lightly drizzle olive oil over it for a golden crust.

Make Slits: Use a sharp knife to make a few diagonal slits on top of the Stromboli to allow steam to escape.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the Stromboli is golden brown and puffed up.

Cool & Serve: Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool for about 5 minutes. Slice into thick pieces and serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
