Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup hot fudge sauce (plus extra for drizzling)

1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easier removal.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and granulated sugar. Mix until well blended.

Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.

Gradually fold the dry ingredient mixture into the wet mixture until just combined.

Gently mix in the hot fudge sauce until well incorporated. If desired, fold in the chocolate chips and nuts for added texture.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.

Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs (not wet batter).

Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 15 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Drizzle extra hot fudge sauce on top before slicing, and enjoy your delicious hot fudge brownie bread!
