Ingredients

1 ½ pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes

¼ cup honey

¼ cup soy sauce

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

Salt to taste

Fresh parsley or green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Skewers (soaked in water for 30 minutes if using wooden skewers)

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, black pepper, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes (if using), and a pinch of salt until well combined.

Marinate the Chicken: Add the cubed chicken to the marinade, ensuring that each piece is well-coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or transfer everything to a zip-top bag. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight for maximum flavor.

Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F).

Skewer the Chicken: Remove the chicken from the marinade and thread the pieces onto the skewers, leaving a bit of space between each piece for even cooking.

Grill the Skewers: Place the skewers on the preheated grill. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning every 3-4 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks. The internal temperature should reach 165°F.

Baste with Marinade (optional): If desired, reserve some of the marinade (before adding the chicken) and brush it on the skewers during the last few minutes of grilling for extra flavor.

Garnish and Serve: Once cooked, remove the skewers from the grill and allow them to rest for a few minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley or green onions and serve warm.

Enjoy: Serve alongside your favorite side dishes, such as grilled vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad!
