Ingredients

1 cup fresh raspberries

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup water

1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-5 lemons)

4 cups sparkling water

Ice cubes

Fresh lemon slices and mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

Make the Raspberry Syrup: In a medium saucepan, combine the raspberries, sugar, and 1 cup of water. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat. Stir occasionally until the raspberries break down and the sugar dissolves completely, about 5-7 minutes.

Strain the Mixture: Remove the saucepan from heat and let the mixture cool for a few minutes. Using a fine-mesh strainer, strain the raspberry syrup into a bowl or pitcher, pressing down with the back of a spoon to extract as much juice as possible. Discard the raspberry pulp.

Combine Lemonade Ingredients: In a large pitcher, mix the strained raspberry syrup with the freshly squeezed lemon juice. Stir well to combine.

Add Sparkling Water: Just before serving, add the sparkling water to the lemonade mixture. Stir gently to combine without losing too much fizz.

Serve: Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the raspberry lemonade over the ice. Garnish with fresh lemon slices and mint leaves for a refreshing touch.

Enjoy! Sip and savor your homemade sparkling raspberry lemonade on a warm day!
