Ingredients

4 cups water

4 black tea bags (or green tea bags for a lighter flavor)

1 ripe mango, peeled and diced

1/4 cup honey (adjust to taste)

2 tablespoons fresh lime juice

Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Ice cubes

Instructions

Boil Water: In a saucepan, bring the 4 cups of water to a boil over medium-high heat.

Steep the Tea: Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add the black or green tea bags. Allow them to steep for about 5 minutes, depending on your desired strength. Remove the tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature.

Prepare Mango Puree: While the tea cools, take the diced mango and place it in a blender. Blend until it reaches a smooth consistency. If you prefer a chunkier texture, pulse a few times for a mix of pureed and small bits.

Combine Ingredients: In a large pitcher, combine the cooled tea, mango puree, honey, and lime juice. Stir well until the honey is fully dissolved. Taste and adjust sweetness or acidity as desired by adding more honey or lime juice.

Chill: Refrigerate the mixture for at least 1 hour or until well chilled.

Serve: To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the mango iced tea over the ice, and garnish each glass with fresh mint leaves for a refreshing aroma.

Enjoy: Sip and enjoy the tropical delight of your Homemade Mango Iced Tea!
