Ingredients

8 oz (225g) flat rice noodles

1 pound (450g) beef flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain

3 tablespoons hoisin sauce

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 tablespoon cornstarch

2 tablespoons vegetable oil (divided)

1 red bell pepper, sliced

1 cup snap peas, trimmed

3 green onions, chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

1 teaspoon sesame oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Noodles: Cook the rice noodles according to package instructions. Drain and rinse under cold water. Set aside.

Marinate the Beef: In a bowl, mix hoisin sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Add the thinly sliced beef, toss to coat well, and let it marinate for 15-20 minutes.

Cook the Beef: Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.

Stir-Fry the Vegetables: In the same pan, add the remaining vegetable oil. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, stirring quickly for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the sliced red bell pepper and snap peas, and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until just tender.

Combine Ingredients: Return the cooked beef to the skillet with the vegetables. Add the cooked rice noodles and drizzle with sesame oil. Toss everything together, ensuring the noodles and meat are well combined and heated through.

Season to Taste: Taste and season with salt and pepper as needed. Cook for an additional minute to allow all flavors to meld together.

Serve: Plate the noodles and garnish with chopped green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds. Enjoy your Sweet & Spicy Hoisin Beef Noodles!
