Ingredients

1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup chopped cooked ham

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

4 large eggs

1/4 cup milk

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt

Olive oil for brushing

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Optional: hot sauce for serving

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Dough: If using store-bought pizza dough, allow it to come to room temperature. If homemade, roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a large rectangle, about 1/4-inch thick.

Make the Egg Mixture: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt until well combined.

Cook the Egg Mixture: In a skillet over medium heat, pour the egg mixture and cook, stirring gently, until the eggs are just set and slightly scrambled (about 3-4 minutes). Remove from heat.

          Assemble the Calzone:

            - Cut the pizza dough into 2 equal rectangles (or circles if you prefer).

              - On one half of each piece of dough, layer the chopped ham, cooked eggs, shredded mozzarella, and cheddar cheese.

                - Fold the dough over the filling to create a half-moon shape and press the edges firmly with your fingers to seal. You can also crimp the edges with a fork for a decorative touch.

Brush and Bake: Place the calzones on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the top of each calzone with olive oil for a golden finish. Use a sharp knife to make a couple of small slits in the top of each calzone to allow steam to escape.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed up.

Serve: Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot with hot sauce if desired.
