Ingredients

2 lbs chicken wings

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/3 cup honey

1/3 cup soy sauce (low-sodium preferred)

2 tablespoons rice vinegar

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon ground ginger

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

2 tablespoons green onion, chopped (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

Preparation of Wings:

Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Place them in a large mixing bowl and season with salt and pepper.

      Make the Marinade:

In a separate bowl, combine the minced garlic, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ground ginger, and red pepper flakes. Whisk until all ingredients are well mixed.

          Marinating the Wings:

Pour the marinade over the chicken wings, making sure they are evenly coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (or overnight for more flavor).

              Preheat the Oven:

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easier cleanup and place a wire rack on top.

                  Bake the Wings:

Place the marinated wings on the wire rack in a single layer. Reserve the remaining marinade. Bake the wings for 25 minutes.

                      Glaze the Wings:

After 25 minutes, remove the wings from the oven. Brush them generously with the reserved marinade, then return them to the oven and bake for another 15-20 minutes until they are crispy and caramelized, flipping them halfway through.

                          Serving:

Once the wings are fully cooked and golden brown, remove them from the oven. Let them rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped green onion and sesame seeds before serving.

                              Enjoy:

Serve the Garlic Honey Soy Wings hot with your favorite dipping sauces and sides!
