4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs

1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed

4 tablespoons olive oil, divided

6 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, minced

1 teaspoon fresh thyme, minced

1 teaspoon dried oregano

Zest of 1 lemon

Juice of 1 lemon

Salt and pepper to taste

½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Lemon wedges for serving

Fresh parsley for garnish

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.

    Make the Herb Mixture: In a bowl, combine 3 tablespoons of olive oil, minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, oregano, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. If you like a little kick, add red pepper flakes.

      Prepare the Chicken: Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels. This will help achieve crispy skin. Season both sides with salt and pepper. Brush half of the herb mixture onto the chicken thighs, coating them generously.

        Arrange Ingredients on the Baking Sheet: Place the chicken thighs skin-side up on one side of the prepared baking sheet. On the other side, place the trimmed green beans. Drizzle the remaining olive oil over the green beans and season with a pinch of salt and pepper, tossing to coat.

          Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature reaches 165°F/74°C) and the skin is golden and crispy. The green beans should be tender yet still vibrant in color.

            Finishing Touches: Once cooked, take the sheet pan out of the oven. Let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
