Ingredients

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

4 tbsp unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp fresh lemon juice

1 tsp smoked paprika

1 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the minced garlic, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, and season with salt and pepper. Stir and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.

Marinate the Shrimp: In a large bowl, combine the shrimp with the warm garlic butter mixture and the lemon juice. Toss well to coat evenly. Allow the shrimp to marinate for at least 15-30 minutes at room temperature.

Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F or 200°C). If using a grill basket, lightly oil it to prevent sticking.

Grill the Shrimp: Once the grill is ready, place the shrimp directly on the grill grates or in the grill basket. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp are pink and opaque, being careful not to overcook.

Serve: Remove the shrimp from the grill and transfer to a serving platter. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side. Drizzle any leftover garlic butter over the top for added flavor.

Enjoy Your Meal: Serve immediately with side dishes like grilled vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad.
