Ingredients

4 large ears of fresh corn on the cob, husked

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon red chili flakes (optional for a kick)

Freshly grated Parmesan cheese (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Corn: Start by husking the corn, removing all the silk strands, and rinsing the cobs under cold water. Pat them dry with a kitchen towel.

Make Garlic Butter: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, fresh parsley, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and red chili flakes (if using). Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

Coat the Corn: Using a brush or a spatula, generously coat each ear of corn with the garlic butter mixture, ensuring it gets into all the nooks and crannies.

Grill the Corn: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Place the buttered corn directly on the grill grates. Cook for about 10-15 minutes, turning every few minutes, until the corn is tender and has nice grill markings.

Serve: Once grilled, remove the corn from the grill and let it cool slightly. Optionally sprinkle freshly grated Parmesan cheese on top before serving. Enjoy your delicious garlic butter corn on the cob!
