Garlic Butter Chicken Alfredo Stuffed Shells Recipe

20 large jumbo pasta shells

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced

1 cup ricotta cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup garlic butter (1/2 cup unsalted butter + 4 cloves garlic, minced)

2 cups Alfredo sauce (homemade or store-bought)

1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the jumbo pasta shells according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside to cool slightly.

    Prepare Garlic Butter: In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Remove from heat and set aside.

      Mix the Filling: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, half of the Parmesan cheese, garlic butter (save a little for drizzling on top), Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

        Stuff the Shells: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Take each cooked shell and carefully spoon the chicken and cheese mixture into it. Place the stuffed shells in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.

          Add Alfredo Sauce: Pour the Alfredo sauce evenly over the top of the stuffed shells. Use a spatula to spread it gently if necessary.
