Ingredients

2 ripe peaches, pitted and cut into bite-sized slices

1 cup dark chocolate chips (or milk chocolate, if preferred)

1 tablespoon coconut oil (for a smoother chocolate)

1 teaspoon sea salt (for garnish)

Optional toppings: crushed nuts, shredded coconut, or sprinkles

Instructions

Prepare the Peaches: Start by washing the peaches thoroughly. Cut each peach into smaller slices or wedges that are easy to dip. Pat them dry with a paper towel to remove any excess moisture.

Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil. Heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring thoroughly after each interval, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.

Dip the Peaches: Using a fork or a toothpick, dip each peach slice into the melted chocolate, ensuring it is fully coated. Allow any excess chocolate to drip off.

Add Toppings: While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle sea salt or any other optional toppings (like crushed nuts or shredded coconut) over the chocolate-covered peach slices.

Freeze the Bites: Place the dipped peach slices on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Be sure to leave some space between each piece to prevent them from sticking together. Transfer the baking sheet to the freezer and let the peach bites freeze for at least 2 hours or until the chocolate is solid.

Serve: Once frozen, remove the peach bites from the freezer and let them sit for a couple of minutes to soften slightly. Serve immediately for a refreshing treat or store them in an airtight container in the freezer.
