Ingredients

4 ripe bananas

1 cup dark chocolate chips (or milk chocolate if preferred)

1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for smoother chocolate)

1 cup shredded coconut (unsweetened)

1/2 cup chopped nuts (almonds or walnuts work great)

1 teaspoon sea salt (optional, for sprinkling)

Wooden popsicle sticks or lollipop sticks

Instructions

Prep the Bananas: Peel the bananas and cut them in half. Insert a popsicle stick into the cut end of each banana half, creating a handle for your banana pops.

Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using). Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.

Dip the Bananas: Hold each banana half by the stick and dip it into the melted chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated. Allow any excess chocolate to drip off.

Add the Toppings: While the chocolate is still wet, roll the banana pop in shredded coconut or sprinkle with chopped nuts. If you’d like a sweet-salty twist, add a sprinkle of sea salt on top.

Freeze the Pops: Place the coated banana pops on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Once all the bananas are coated, transfer the sheet to the freezer. Freeze for at least 2 hours, or until solid.

Serve and Enjoy: Once frozen, you can enjoy your Choco-Banana Bliss Pops straight from the freezer or place them in a zip-top bag for easy storage.
