Ingredients

2 lbs chicken wings

1/4 cup honey

1/4 cup fresh lime juice (about 2 limes)

2 tablespoons lime zest

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon chili powder

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt

Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Lime wedges, for serving

Instructions

Marinate the Wings:

In a large mixing bowl, combine honey, lime juice, lime zest, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, smoked paprika, chili powder, black pepper, and salt. Whisk until well blended. Add chicken wings to the bowl, coating them evenly with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for deeper flavor.

      Prepare the Grill:

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F). If using a charcoal grill, let the coals burn down until they are covered with white ash.

          Grill the Wings:

Remove wings from the marinade, letting excess drip off. Place wings on the grill. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the wings are cooked through and have a nice char. For extra caramelization, brush leftover marinade on the wings during the last few minutes of grilling.

              Make the Drizzle:

While the wings are grilling, pour the remaining marinade into a small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce to a simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.

                  Serve:

Once the wings are done, transfer them to a serving platter. Drizzle the warm honey-lime sauce over the wings. Garnish with freshly chopped cilantro and serve with lime wedges on the side.
