Ingredients

For the Chicken Marinade:

2 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust based on heat preference)

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 clove garlic, minced

1 teaspoon ginger, grated

For the Creamy Garlic Sauce:

1 cup heavy cream

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons butter

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 teaspoon chili paste

Salt and pepper to taste

2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

For the Ramen Bowl:

4 cups chicken broth

2 packs of ramen noodles (discard seasoning packets)

2 cups bok choy, chopped

1 cup shiitake mushrooms, sliced

2 soft-boiled eggs (optional)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sriracha, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Add the chicken breasts to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and let marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours in the fridge).

Prepare the Creamy Garlic Sauce: In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine. Add soy sauce and chili paste. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then let simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened. Set aside.

Cook the Chicken: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a drizzle of oil. Remove the chicken from the marinade and cook for 7-8 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and golden brown. Once cooked, let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it into strips.

Prepare the Ramen Bowl: In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil. Add the ramen noodles and cook for about 4-5 minutes until al dente. Add the chopped bok choy and sliced shiitake mushrooms in the last minute of cooking.

Assemble the Bowls: Divide the cooked ramen and vegetables among 2-4 bowls. Pour the hot chicken broth over the noodles and vegetables. Drizzle generously with the creamy garlic sauce over the top.

Add the Finishing Touches: Lay the sliced chicken on top, and if using, add a soft-boiled egg cut in half. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot and enjoy the fiery, creamy explosion of flavors!
