Ingredients

1 package (16 oz) store-bought gnocchi

2 cups marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup ricotta cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Cook the Gnocchi: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the gnocchi and cook according to package instructions until they float to the top (typically 2-3 minutes). Drain and set aside.

Mix the Sauce: In a large bowl, combine the marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Stir until well mixed.

Combine Gnocchi and Sauce: Add the cooked gnocchi to the sauce mixture. Gently fold the gnocchi until they are evenly coated.

Assemble in Baking Dish: Transfer the gnocchi mixture to a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Spread it out evenly.

Add Cheeses: Sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses evenly over the top of the gnocchi mixture.

Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and slightly golden.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Optionally, sprinkle with fresh basil or parsley before serving.

Enjoy: Serve hot as a main dish or alongside a crisp salad!
