Ingredients
  

1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 can (15 oz) black beans, rinsed and drained

1 can (15 oz) corn, drained

1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies

1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce

1 medium onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 packet taco seasoning

2 cups chicken broth

1 bell pepper (any color), diced

1 teaspoon cumin

1 teaspoon chili powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, chopped cilantro, avocado, sliced jalapeños

Instructions
 

Prepare Chicken: Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the slow cooker.

    Layer Ingredients: Add the black beans, corn, diced tomatoes (with juices), tomato sauce, diced onion, minced garlic, diced bell pepper, taco seasoning, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper on top of the chicken.

      Add Broth: Pour in the chicken broth, ensuring all ingredients are well combined.

        Cook: Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.

          Shred Chicken: Once the cooking time is done, remove the chicken breasts and shred them using two forks. Return the shredded chicken to the soup and stir well.

            Serve: Ladle the soup into bowls and add your favorite toppings like shredded cheese, sour cream, chopped cilantro, avocado, or sliced jalapeños.
