Ingredients

1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted

1 cup dark brown sugar, packed

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

3 large eggs

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup white chocolate chips

1 cup salted caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Flaky sea salt, for topping

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.

Combine Butters and Sugars: In a large bowl, mix the melted butter with dark brown sugar and granulated sugar until fully combined and smooth. This should take about 2-3 minutes.

Add Vanilla and Eggs: Stir in the vanilla extract and add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition until the batter is creamy.

Mix Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter and sugar mixture, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix!

Fold in Chocolate Chips: Gently fold in the white chocolate chips, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.

Layer the Batter: Pour half of the blondie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. Drizzle half of the salted caramel sauce on top.

Add Remaining Batter: Carefully spoon the remaining batter over the caramel layer and spread it out. Drizzle the rest of the salted caramel sauce over the top.

Swirl the Caramel: Using a knife or skewer, gently swirl the caramel into the top layer of the batter for an elegant marbled effect.

Bake the Blondies: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Cool and Sprinkle Salt: Once out of the oven, allow the blondies to cool in the pan for about 15 minutes. Carefully lift them out using the overhanging parchment paper, then sprinkle with flaky sea salt.

Slice and Serve: Allow the blondies to cool completely before slicing into squares. Enjoy your decadent reward with a glass of milk or a scoop of ice cream!
