1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter

1 cup (200g) granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup (60ml) Baileys Irish Cream

1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour

1/3 cup (30g) unsweetened cocoa powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon baking powder

1 cup (175g) semi-sweet chocolate chips

Optional: powdered sugar for dusting, chocolate ganache for drizzling

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x9-inch (23x23 cm) baking dish by greasing it lightly or lining it with parchment paper for easy removal.

    Melt Butter: In a medium microwave-safe bowl, melt the unsalted butter in the microwave. This should take about 30-40 seconds.

      Combine Ingredients: Once melted, add granulated sugar to the butter and mix well until combined. Then, whisk in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract and Baileys Irish Cream. Make sure everything is well incorporated.

        Mix Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

          Add Chocolate Chips: Gently fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips to add extra decadence.
