Ingredients

1 cup (225g) unsalted butter

8 oz (225g) dark chocolate (70% cocoa), chopped

1 cup (200g) granulated sugar

1 cup (200g) packed brown sugar

4 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour

1/2 cup (50g) unsweetened cocoa powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup (150g) fresh raspberries

1 cup (170g) dark chocolate truffle filling (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9x13 inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal later.

Melt Butter and Chocolate: In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the unsalted butter and chopped dark chocolate. Stir until completely melted and smooth. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

Mix Sugars and Eggs: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and eggs until light and fluffy. Add the vanilla extract and continue to whisk until well incorporated.

Combine Chocolate Mixture: Slowly pour the cooled chocolate and butter mixture into the egg mixture, stirring gently until combined.

Add Dry Ingredients: Sift together the all-purpose flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually fold this dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined; be careful not to overmix.

Incorporate Raspberries: Gently fold in the fresh raspberries, being cautious not to break them apart too much.

Prepare for Baking: Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it into an even layer. Carefully dollop the dark chocolate truffle filling over the batter, then add the remaining brownie batter on top, spreading it gently to cover the filling.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center is still slightly soft. A toothpick inserted into the center should come out with a few moist crumbs, not completely clean.

Cool and Serve: Allow the brownies to cool in the baking dish for at least 30 minutes before lifting them out using the parchment paper overhang. Cut them into squares and serve warm or at room temperature. For an extra touch, dust them with powdered sugar or serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
