Ingredients

1 medium cucumber, thinly sliced

1/2 cup fresh mint leaves, gently packed

1 lemon, sliced (optional, for added tang)

8 cups filtered water

Ice cubes (optional)

Sweetener to taste (like honey or agave, optional)

Instructions

Begin by washing the cucumber and slicing it into thin rounds. You can leave the skin on for added nutrients and color.

Rinse the fresh mint leaves under cold water to remove any dirt or impurities.

In a large pitcher, combine the sliced cucumber, fresh mint leaves, and lemon slices if using.

Pour the filtered water over the ingredients in the pitcher. Gently stir to combine all the flavors.

For best results, refrigerate the mixture for at least 2 hours, or overnight if time allows. This will enhance the infusion of flavors.

Before serving, give the water a gentle stir. If desired, add ice cubes to individual glasses for a refreshing chill.

Taste your cucumber mint water and add sweetener if you prefer a touch of sweetness.

Pour into glasses and garnish with additional mint leaves or cucumber slices if desired. Enjoy!
