Ingredients

1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon dried dill

1 teaspoon dried parsley

1 teaspoon paprika

½ teaspoon salt (or to taste)

½ teaspoon black pepper (or to taste)

1 tablespoon ranch seasoning mix (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easier cleanup.

Prepare the Chickpeas: Drain and rinse the chickpeas thoroughly. Pat them dry using a clean kitchen towel or paper towels. Removing excess moisture will help them become crispier.

Season the Chickpeas: In a large bowl, combine the chickpeas with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, dried dill, dried parsley, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the chickpeas are evenly coated with the oil and spices.

Bake the Chickpeas: Spread the seasoned chickpeas in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through to ensure even crisping. Keep an eye on them during the last few minutes to prevent burning.

Add Ranch Flavor: Once the chickpeas are golden brown and crunchy, remove them from the oven and sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix over the hot chickpeas. Toss gently to coat. The heat will help the seasoning stick better.

Cool and Serve: Allow the chickpeas to cool slightly before serving; they will continue to crisp up as they cool. Enjoy them as a snack, salad topper, or even as a crunchy addition to your favorite grain bowls!
